Extraordinary KIRAS SONO – Kiss Lips Pop Art Sculpture | InTinta Series

The KIRAS SONO – Kiss Lips Pop Art Sculpture [InTinta Series] is a contemporary artwork handmade by Kiras that reinterprets the shape of the lips through a sensual, ironic and immediately recognizable Pop Art language.

The composition features a three-dimensional mouth with closed, slightly pursed lips, evoking the instant of a kiss and transforming a simple, universal gesture into a sculptural element with a strong visual impact.

The lips are characterized by a vibrant fuchsia tone, giving the composition an immediate Pop identity and a strong chromatic presence.

The shape of the lips is broad and sinuous, with a particular emphasis on the central area that recalls the spontaneous gesture of a mouth ready to give a kiss.

The simplicity of the form becomes the artwork’s defining element. There are no teeth or additional elements: the focus is entirely on the silhouette of the lips, their curves and the three-dimensionality of the surface.

The lips emerge from the wall, creating a striking sculptural effect. The different curves of the form produce variations of light and shadow that enhance the perception of volume.

The intense and vibrant fuchsia surface makes the mouth immediately recognizable and emphasizes its contemporary character.

The handcrafted production in Italy means that each piece features the distinctive characteristics of handmade workmanship.

H2 – Artistic Inspiration Behind the KIRAS SONO – Kiss Lips [InTinta Series] Pop Art Sculpture

The KIRAS SONO – Kiss Lips [InTinta Series] Pop Art Sculpture was born from the reinterpretation of one of the most immediate and universal gestures associated with the mouth: the kiss.

Kiras takes the recognizable shape of the lips and transforms it into a three-dimensional composition, playing with color, proportions, volume and gesture.

The true distinctive element of the artwork is the position of the lips.

The lips are closed and slightly pursed forward, immediately evoking the gesture of a kiss without the need for additional figurative elements.

The mouth features a vibrant fuchsia tone, creating an immediately recognizable chromatic contrast and strengthening the Pop character of the artwork.

Color therefore becomes an integral part of the sculpture’s visual language.

Fuchsia introduces a vibrant, contemporary and playful dimension, transforming a shape associated with sensuality into an ironic and strongly Pop image.

The choice of a glossy surface further strengthens the presence of the sculpture and allows light to emphasize its curves.

Three-dimensionality is fundamental to the language of KIRAS SONO: the lips are not simply represented, but become a true sculptural form emerging into space.

The curves of the mouth create different volumes and allow light to produce shadows and reflections across the surface. The appearance of the artwork can therefore change subtly depending on the lighting and viewing angle.

The choice of such an essential composition also allows the sculpture to maintain a strong visual impact without relying on teeth, a tongue or other decorative elements.

The gesture of the kiss thus becomes a true Pop icon: simple, immediate and recognizable.

The title KIRAS SONO introduces a personal dimension to the artwork, while Kiss Lips immediately identifies the gesture and emotion being represented.

The InTinta Series expands this artistic exploration into a chromatic dimension, allowing the shape of the mouth to be reinterpreted through different tones and color combinations.

KIRAS SONO – Kiss Lips [InTinta Series] is thus an encounter between Pop Art, color, sensuality, irony and three-dimensional design, capable of transforming a universal gesture into a sculpture with a strongly personal character.
